In November we finally took Lexie in for her 2 year well check. Luckily our pediatrician Dr. McCune, who has been Lexie's doctor since birth, recently moved north and we are able to take our kids to his new office!
Here are her 27 month stats:
Weight: 29.32 lbs. - 70%
Height: 35.75 in. - 75%
Lexie has definately turned into a 2-year-old! She is high energy and likes to go at full speed exploring everything, testing all the limits, ripping, running, jumping, smiling, laughing, playing, sliding, and keeping us on our toes. I don't know when she went from being my little baby to a smart little girl, but she is my little friend and starting to be a good helper. She likes to take care of her baby (Pooh Bear) just like mom, changing his diapers and putting him down for naps. And Lexie loves being a big sister to Hoyt; she can make him smile and laugh much faster than mom and dad can and she likes to say "It's ok Hoyt" if he is upset.

These pictures are from our Christmas card photo shoot and she would not sit still, but we at least got a couple of pictures we could use.
We took a few pictures at the park and all Lexie could focus on was the slide. She LOVES to slide. She really likes going to Arctic Circle to eat a hamburger and go down the slides. She is really into learning her ABCs, "reading" us stories, singing songs, dancing around, "talking" on her cell phone (especially to her grandparents), watching her favorite shows "Super Why" and "Dinosaur Train" and her weekly favorite Disney movies...this week it is "Cars" and "Aristocats". She also really loves the temple. From our house we can see 3 temples, the closest being the Jordan River Temple. We were driving home from the store the other day and I heard Lexie talking to Hoyt in the back. She said "Look Hoyt, there is the temple. It's so pretty!"
We love our sweet brown-eyed girl!

She's such a cutie. And she now officially weighs more than Bethie, who only weighs 26 lbs and at this rate, will be able to move to a booster seat just in time for the Jr. Prom! Ha ha Ha. Cute photos!
