10 Months

Lexie turned 10 months old last week, but I didn't get around to posting any pictures until now. We are in Blanding visiting Bryan's parents and will have plenty of pictures from our trip after we get home. Here are a few pictures I took of her the other day.
Lexie is getting to where she will smile and pose for the camera.
One of her favorite things to do is push things around the house, especially the kitchen chairs.
Little Lexie loves her music. Her jumparoo was playing music and she loves to lead the music by waving her arm back and forth as you can see in the picture on the left.
Lexie is now trying to mimick everything we say and says "all done" after eating and diaper changes etc. I'm not really teaching her sign language, but I did teach her to sign "more" when she wants more food so she wouldn't scream to get more. We love our baby girl and enjoy watching her grow up!

My Biggest Loser Moment!

As many of you know, my favorite show is Biggest Loser. I really got into it this past season, but was disappointed when the team I cheered for got kicked off before the finale. This week I have been helping the bookstore during the Utah Summer Games. Last night I worked at the athlete's social and then the opening ceremonies to sell sweatshirts and blankets. While we were at the athlete's social, my 2 favorite contestants from Biggest Loser showed up because they were going to help light the torch at the opening ceremonies. After they talked to the athletes, they walked right over to where I was working and I got to shake their hands and talk to them for a few minutes until a bunch of kids came over for autographs. The girl I was working with told me I should get my picture with them. All I had was my phone so I didn't get a way high quality picture, but I was excited anyway. Biggest Loser really helped inspire me to lose weight after I had Lexie. I not only had baby weight to get rid of, but I had gained some unwanted pounds after getting married. I'm happy to say that I've lost 20+ pounds in addition to what I gained in pregnancy weight (which was way too much!) I'm still working on losing more, but I feel great and have really learned to love exercise!

Here I am with the awesome Tongan cousins Sione & Filipe Fa.
I love these guys! GO BLUE TEAM!!!
This is them before Biggest Loser.
If you want to see what I looked like before, you can just go look at pictures of me on this blog from the past year.

Our Little Puppy

If you are thinking we went out and got a dog you are VERY wrong. Bryan is severely allergic to dogs and in general we really just aren't into the whole pet thing. But we have our very own super-cute puppy who likes to carry things in her mouth while she crawls around. Her favorite thing to do is take off her socks and put them in her mouth. We got these pictures the other day so I thought I would share.
The look on her face kills me in this picture. This is her growling face.

Graduation Time

Last month was Graduation time! Ok, so you probably wonder why I am posting a picture of Bryan's graduation which took place last May. Well, he had one year to finish up his Sr. project in order to get his official diploma and actually be graduated. Well, Bryan had a rough time with that project and barely finished the day it was due. It's a long story, but basically he had to do his project a total of 4 times because things kept going wrong. In fact, he spent the entire day of SUU's graduation THIS year, trying to finish things up. But it is over; he has a grade and now we are just waiting on the diploma. Hooray!!
Last weekend we went to my hometown to watch my brother Matt graduate from High School. I can't believe my parents have had 5 kids graduate already. Only 4 more to go. :) I also can't believe it's been 10 years since I graduated. It really feels like a lifetime ago. I didn't have any good pictures of Matt at graduation, but Bryan took this short video of him walking in so I put that on here so you can see him in his cap and gown and everything.
Here is our family with Matt. We are so proud of him!
After graduation, Matt was ordained to an Elder so we all went from the school to the church to be there for him at that special event. Here is a picture of my entire family minus my brother Eric who is in the airforce and overseas (his wife Tracie was there though!) and Pete who is serving a mission in Texas.
I don't know what Lexie was looking at, but there must have been something exciting on the ceiling.
Saturday we went to watch Timmy play in a baseball tournament. This picture is so cute of Lexie trying on Grandpa's hat at the ballgame.

Dancing Queen

Lexie loves music! Whenever she hears music now, she waves her arms like she is conducting. It is super cute! She also really loves to dance. We took a video of her dancing to a "Baby Prodigy" video the other night after her bath. For those of you not familiar with these videos, it is just like "Baby Einstein" where they play classical music and show different toys, etc. Lexie really enjoys classical music and also primary songs. We love our little dancing queen!
