Our Family's Big Day

Yesterday was a special day for our family. It was Lexie's blessing day, and it was Bryan's birthday which made the day even more special. We are grateful to our many family members who were able to come be with us as we celebrated. Here are a few pictures from the occasion. We didn't get any pictures of Lexie alone in her beautiful blessing dress that Great Grandma Mickelson made because there was no time, but we'll put her back in the dress and get pictures later this week and share them. Bryan gave Lexie a great blessing and she looked like a little angel!

This is Lexie meeting her Uncle Eric who has been in Air Force training for 8 months. He just got back on Saturday, just in time to be here for the blessing. We are so grateful he made it back and we know his wife Tracie is even more grateful to finally have her husband back!

Happy birthday to my sweetie Bryan!!! I hope it's a wonderful year for you! This past year has been quite a ride and we have been through a lot, but the celebration this year was made even sweeter by our new family addition and I know the coming year will be full of exciting things for our growing family.
