The first 2 weeks of Sabrie's life flew by; as it is with each child, we couldn't imagine our home without this sweet little angel. I think they got her length wrong at birth because her 3 day stats were:
Weight: 8 lbs 3 oz (69%)
Length: 21 1/2 in (96%)
Head: 13 1/2 (33%)
Here she is at 2 days old.
It was nice to have a day and a half home from the hospital with just the 3 of us, but we were happy Mickell brought the other kids home Sunday night; we missed them! They finally got to meet their new baby sister, and were very excited to hold her and check her out!
Hoyt's reaction to Sabrie.
Lexie is excited to have a baby sister!
The next night, Sabrie got to meet Grandpa and Grandma Hoyt and many of her nieces and nephew. I don't have pictures, but it was a fun night to visit and have some dinner together to celebrate.
Here is Sabrie at 1 week old
Uncle Rob & Aunt Annie stopped in to meet their new niece.
Friday the 16th, we took Sabrie to her 2 week well check. Her cord was about to fall off ,so the Dr. took it the rest of the way off. She is healthy and growing, and here are her stats:
Weight: 9 lbs 3 oz (78%)
Height: 21 1/2 in (83%)
Head: 14 in (36%)
We decided to take pictures for our Christmas card so we could get them printed before Thanksgiving. We had to all stayed home from church due to sickness, but I dressed the kids up and did the best I could with my little camera. Luckily we had a few turn out really cute.
This was one of my favorite pictures.
Lexie is such a beautiful little girl!
Hoyt is one handsome little dude!
And my little Sabrie is just so pretty!
A few cute pictures that didn't make the card.
We also gave Sabrie her first real bath since her cord was gone and had dried out. She really enjoyed the bath (more like a shower)!
The kids had to be right there checking things out, and watching her get a bath.
Here are 2 small videos of the kids meeting Sabrie for the first time, and her first bath.
